A Sui wallet, a small amount of WAL to pay for storage, and a little SUI to cover network gas. Connect the wallet and you can upload right away — there is nothing else to sign up for.
No. The upload happens between your browser, your wallet, and the network. We do not run a server that receives your files, and we hold no keys. If you want privacy for sensitive files, encrypt them before uploading — the network stores whatever bytes you give it.
You pay the network directly in WAL, priced by file size and how long you want it stored. The dashboard shows the estimate before you approve anything, and a small SUI gas fee covers the on-chain transactions.
Files are uploaded as deletable. Removing one submits an on-chain transaction that releases the storage back to the network. It is your action, signed by your wallet, and it cannot be undone.
Yes. Walrus spreads each file across many independent storage nodes and records it on Sui. It stays retrievable even if a significant portion of those nodes is unavailable, and no single operator can take it down.
No. Your files live on the network under a public blob ID, not on this site. This dashboard is just one convenient way to reach them.
Yes. There is no per-account limit imposed by us — you pay the network for the space you use. For very large archives or high volumes, see the Solutions page or get in touch about volume storage.
